Overview

Providing world-class service is of paramount importance to CyberShift. We understand that outsourcing the management of the business critical workforce or expense management systems that we provide involves a high level of trust in your service provider. Our clients expect privacy, performance and availability – and we deliver it. Detailed below are overviews of the systems and services provided as part of the CyberShift On Demand™ offering.

On Demand Operations Center

Every feature of CyberShift's data center has been designed to support and protect mission-critical IT operations. CyberShift has qualified technicians available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to support the business critical systems that we provide, including the associated networks, applications and databases, which we host and manage.

Data Center Security

Protecting data from the myriad of threats that come in endless forms is a serious business. The primary data centers that CyberShift utilizes have been built to seismic Zone 3 Essential Services criteria. In addition, CyberShift has developed a comprehensive, multi-layered, state-of-the-art security architecture designed to keep your systems running and your data safe – just as you would expect.

Logical Security
The CyberShift On Demand security architecture is based on a sweeping, default-deny methodology and consists of multiple physical and logical layers designed to prevent unauthorized access from both external and internal sources and to mitigate threats associated with the many forms of malware.

Physical Security
Security doesn't end with the logical protection of data; a good security posture relies on the physical protection of systems as well. Data Center security starts at the point of entry where 24 x 7 x 365 security guards validate company-issued photo identification and then two levels of escorted checkpoints before getting to the entry of the actual data center floor. The facility is segregated into multiple physical zones, and all are secured through Biometric security systems. Engineers have access only to the areas in which they are authorized to be.

Fire and Smoke Protection

Preventing fire related damage starts with an aggressive approach to preventing fires. The data center is protected by a cutting edge VESDA, LaserPLUS early warning smoke detection system. This system, which detects individual smoke particles in the air through a laser array, immediately alerts security and facility engineers, the Customer Support Center and the NYFD if any smoke conditions are reported. Early detection of smoke conditions allows the facility personnel to prevent any actual fire occurrences.

Backup and Recovery Systems

CyberShift considers uptime, reliability, performance and overall system availability to be of critical importance, and places significant priority on managing the systems that ensure this. CyberShift has designed a comprehensive, business-continuity framework designed to provide extremely high levels of availability.

Service Level Agreements

The CyberShift On Demand service guarantees that the CyberShift Workforce Management 3G™ and CyberShift Expense™ products will be available a minimum of 99.5% of the time on a 7 day-a-week, 24 hour-per- day basis, excluding planned maintenance windows.

Provisioning and Implementation

Depending on client requirements, CyberShift can provide both temporary and permanent supplementary environments in addition to the production use of the workforce or expense systems. These capabilities provide our clients with maximum flexibility during their implementation process, or for on-going training and education requirements. Included in the monthly On Demand fees are the costs of regular software upgrades – both infrastructure components and at the application level. There are no “hidden” costs.

Monitoring Systems

CyberShift's monitoring fabric consists of multiple, overlapping systems designed to test systems components in isolation and in a holistic manner, as a single system – like our clients use it. We use both third party and internally developed systems to test everything from Java method metrics to interactive user flows. These monitoring systems employ both proactive and reactive monitoring methods, which often allow us to catch things before they happen and stop them before they do any damage.
